Dr Jing Xian (Alvin) Quah

Dr. Alvin Quah is a highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiologist with extensive training and experience in treating heart rhythm disorders. A graduate of the University of Queensland, he completed advanced training at the University of Sunshine Coast, Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Flinders Medical Centre, where he also pursued an electrophysiology and PhD fellowship. Dr. Quah further honed his expertise during a two-year fellowship in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In the past three years, Dr. Quah has performed over 400 ablation procedures for conditions like atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia, as well as over 500 cardiac device implants, including pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and leadless pacemakers.

A recipient of the National Heart Foundation Health Professional Scholarship and the Flinders University PhD Scholarship (2020), Dr. Quah has co-authored 35+ scientific papers and presented at cardiology conferences worldwide. His research focuses on the pathophysiology and treatment of atrial fibrillation, a key area of his PhD studies.
